Just ask Dennis Cole, the Milwaukee first baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the National Player of the Week honors.
Cole piled up 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .478.
So far in 2032 Cole has hit .331 with 23 home runs and 101 RBIs. He has played in 139 games and scored 105 times. |  | Monday, September 13th, 2032: AL Star of the Week Honored A battle-tested James Butler declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Kansas City shortstop collected the American Player of the Week Award.
He wrapped up the week with a .458 average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
In the 2032 season Butler is hitting .284 with 15 home runs. |  | Saturday, September 11th, 2032: Royals Morel Strong-Arms Blue Jays Stephen Morel kept Toronto hitters off balance all game long as the Kansas City pitcher blanked the Blue Jays 7-0. They managed to get 4 hits off Morel, who struck out 2 and walked 0.
